Wesley and Cherche both rip the helmet off with surprising ease to see one thing-he is not there anymore. His shield and shotgun are still with the armor, but Lucius is not.

They grab the armor and book it.

Lucius appears right as Wesley chucks a bag of flour at him and Cherche a molotov, closing the door.

He is able to duck and roll underneath the flour, and the molotov lands right next to him. He rolls ahead of it, his shirt catching on fire, and before any of them realize it, the room is surrounded by a slowly growing ring of fire. After this, Lucius smirks, and pulls out a golden grenade with a cross on it. Rubies are embedded in it everywhere. He pulls the cross off, and throws it at the wonder duo, landing right between them. He backs away from it, and pulls out a gun. After a short delay, it explodes.

Cherche's armor is able to take the explosion and most of the shrapnel, but she is thrown against the panel, with some extremely tiny holes in the leggings and chest.

Wesley reacted somewhat in time, dodging part of the blast but still getting caught by shrapnel. The grenade also put out some of the fire via what appeared to be holy water, but the ring of fire will still continue to close in on the trio.

Lucius pulls out a gun and fires a round at Wesley, pegging his leg.

Wesley and Cherche try to do a joint charge at him, but Lucius hitting Wesley's leg has greatly slowed him down. Cherche, however, pulls out an arrow in an attempt to stab Lucius, who easily dodges towards the door, positioning himself to the side of both of them.

Lucius charges at Cherche, who is keeping an arrow ready. Lucius goes to swing at her midsection, but gets caught on her armor, tho it does break that part.

Cherche stabs the arrow into his shoulder, who could not dodge in time, but fortunately did not do much damage.

Wesley also takes a throwing knife and throws it, but misses.

Cherche blocks Lucius from turning around, who is giving cover to Wesley to make a trial by fire. He is able to get through the fire quickly, but he is definitely on fire.

Wesley has left.

Lucius goes to slash at Cherche, who tries to block with the rifle. He blocks some of the strike, but he is able to pierce the armor and stab Cherche in the stomach, who is now bleeding more heavily.

Cherche tries to run through the fires, but is stopped by Lucius with a swing to her leg that cuts deep.

She falls to the floor, bleeding from her stomach and leg. As the fires consume her, she only reflects on what she should have done.

Cherche has died.

Suddenly, Lucius, covered in fire and soot, somewhat burnt, with a glass shard embedded deep into his leg, breaks through the door with a gun drawn, only to land on the marbles laid out and slip. The flour around him goes up in blazes, as he screams in pain.

Wesley walks to the around to the wall to hide, and Lucius takes a shot in vain. It misses.

Wesley hits play on his walkman.



He pops out around the corner, and sees Lucius with a gun already raised. He has his slingshot primed, and fires it as Lucius pulls the trigger.


A throwing knife sinks itself into Lucius's chest, who falls to his knees. The bullet, thankfully, missed Wesley.
