Yes, but you can escape alone without having to kill...it's probably difficult, but doable. This role requires you to kill before even being allowed to escape.

Role copies in the same alignment aren't the greatest especially with how role lists tend to be treated.

Personally, I don't like it. For the above reason and because there's just so much about them. It's not fair to lose because your enemy dies.

Make the colour darker. :P

I thought a doctor role was planned but I guess it got scrapped. Really though, it's so easy to die in VLDR that we need something like this.

I suppose the Guardian Angel fills that niche need for a Doctor role, but this role serves more of a unique ability and doesn't have as much of a restricting wincon as Guardian Angel.

Abilities:
  • You and your partner, (player), may communicate at any time other than the Ambidex Game.
  • Together your power doubles, however when separated you are weaker than the average person.
  • If one of you is incapacitated or killed, so is the other. You feel your partner's pain.
Win condition:
  • You and your partner must escape alone together.


Since we have pair roles for every other alignment, here's a killing one.

I'm actually just gonna make a mega-role list and add/update roles in this post.

Munch's Mega-Role list;

Abilities:
  • You start with a cheap camera.
  • Each roaming phase the camera can take a single picture before having to charge itself.
  • You have experience covering wars, you are a bit more sturdy than others.
Win condition:
  • Take a picture of 3 different alive players and Escape with at least one of them.


Investigator
Remember the Past


Abilities:
  • Every Ambidex Game, you are informed that a non-killing/evil player is not a killing or evil role.
  • You are very big compared to the other players, making you more sturdy and powerful than them.
  • You may not kill a player if they have been confirmed to you that they are not killing/evil, except in self-defence.
Win condition:
  • Escape without allowing any evil or killing roles from escaping [including conspirators].

  • You excel at throwing things with extreme precision.
  • You can catch things coming at or near you with ease.
  • Your swings with blunt objects can easily cause damage

  • You are very resistant to fire.
Win condition:
  • Be the only one to escape


Predator
It's a Jungle


Abilities:
  • You gain adrenaline when in combat against anyone who has a lower BP than you, making you faster and more powerful than them.
  • Players who have a lower BP than you get marked, if they then get an equal or higher BP than you they will be unmarked.
Win condition:
  • Kill at least 1/4th of marked players, or
  • Escape with only one other player.


Deceiver
Ultimate Betrayal


Abilities:
  • So long as your target breathes, you are extremely more powerful and agile than others.
Win condition:
  • Kill (target player) when only both of you are left, or alternatively
  • Kill at least 3 players who have Allied against you.


Change log:
Spoiler: Feb 5th, 2017: Created post and added "The Jester","The Sane/Insane Patient", "Champion" and "The Tiger".
Created "Pyrotechnician", "Photojournalist" and "Predator".
Changed "Photojournalist" from Neutral to Good. (Has wincon that isn't just "escape")

Feb 6th, 2017: Changed rolecard style to Aeo's.
Removed charges from "Pyrotechnician" and instead changed it to "Using your device too much in a row will leave a visible burn mark and you will no longer be able to use it for the rest of the phase".
Created "Cranked".
Gave "Cranked" a hidden taser.
Changed "Predator"
Changed "Photojournalist" wincon and camera.

Feb 9th, 2017: Created "Boxer", "Baseball Star", "Deceiver" and "Investigator (Inspired from Seven)".
Added alt wincon to "Predator".
Changed "Photojournalist" wincon to make it an actual "good" role.

For reference: I am working with some of the roles that people have posted here. Thank you all for the ideas.

Allow me to put in an official request for more Killing roles, it is the alignment that is most lacking currently.
So far, I have Cleaver, Assassin, Maverick, Vainglorious, and Obsessor. Any ideas - even concepts - would be greatly appreciated.

Abilities:
  • You start off with a hidden bow with three arrows, undetectable until first use.
  • You have excellent aim and accuracy with any action that has a long-distance target, but are not skilled with close-up combat.
Win condition:
  • Your targets are (one third of the players). Eliminate at least half of them and escape.

Thrill of the hunt

Abilities:
  • Twice per Roaming phase, you are able to create an undetectable slipknot that hangs whoever gets caught in it upside down, silencing and immobilizing them.
  • Slipknot ropes are reusable if collected or unsevered.
  • You start with a hunting knife and five sets of rope.
Win condition:
  • Execute three victims caught in your traps and escape.

Time to make a wish come true


Abilities:
  • You and your sister, (player), may communicate at any time other than the Ambidex Game.
  • You are more agile than the normal person.
  • Anyone who brings harm to your sister must be killed. This includes betraying, knocking out, or killing her.
Win condition:
  • Escape with your sister.
  • If your sister is killed, avenge her and escape alone.


Mastermind
Oh my God, is that you, Jumpy?!


Abilities:
  • You and your brother, (player), may communicate at any time other than the Ambidex Game.
  • You are familiar with the facility and will receive full maps before they are revealed to the other players.
  • Once, you request an item be put into the game. It will be placed somewhere in the facility.
  • You may only kill via self-defense.
Win condition:
  • Escape with your brother.
  • If your brother is killed, avenge him and escape alone.

  • You begin the game with three small, undetectable vials powder; sleep, paralysis, and death. The powder must be ingested or enter through the bloodstream to take effect.
  • You begin the game with sharp, pointed letter opener.
  • You are a frail individual
Win condition:
  • See that the only players who escape are yourself and/or those who succesfully betrayed a living player, or survive and kill off a fourth of the participents who at the time of their death have only selected ally.
