Aeo mentioned the possibility of a Transformation category for roles, so I just want to throw this down so I don't forget.

Divergent
Ally...or betray?


Abilities:
  • You will receive a random role depending on your vote during the first Ambidex Game.
  • Allying makes your pool Good/Neutral, while Betraying makes your pool Evil/Killing.
Win condition:
  • Win with your new role's win condition.


Wildcard excluded, unless the amount of roles gets bigger.

Abilities:
  • You were born with the condition of Synesthesia and have trained yourself from a young age to use you condition for higher senses.
  • You "see" all whispers that happen within the room you are in.
  • When searching, nothing is hidden from you. This includes items item in the environment and people directly.

  • Escape

I'd say the role needs a buff if it's going to have escape without allowing evil or killing roles.

Or just the win condition being "escape".

I considered giving it an "Escape with (1/3 or 1/4) of total players", but I thought that the good roles needed a bit more diversity with win conditions. Although, I'm fine with making it that. Either that, or the baton can be made into a cattle prod, which is basically a stun baton. Thoughts?

Try to ambush the clairvoyant, start the fight without the advantage of initiative, and then get "debuffed" from disorientation.

The only issue I have with it is that it's a little unfair to essentially pause the game if the role was offline. Someone could enter the room while waiting for it to respond, but they can't because they'd have to wait because action submission order.

I think in that case the host would act for you. Counters won't be very successful against multiple things (i.e- gunshots and explosions), but I'm sure the host could handle a situation like that efficiently.

In that case it wouldn't be very helpful, and I'd rather have some other ability seeing everyone has some form of it anyway.

Abilities:
  • You are impervious to pain and are only killable by complete destruction of the hard drive embedded in your skull.
  • You are able to repair any damage caused to yourself via various parts and tools around the facility.

Win Condition
  • Randomly chosen by the host from pre-existing win conditions.


Android is Wildcard by default. Depending on the win condition, this will change their alignment. Win condition cannot be a unique wincon for a certain role (i.e: Radical, Transformation Roles, and Pair Roles.) Also, just the fact it's an Android makes it based off of Sean.

Automaton has high strength but can't kill. Android has moderate speed and strength along with not being able to be stopped unless killed, but various ways to play.

Terrible name and flavor text, but a possible for possible blood baths/end game scrambles.

It could just be me that doesn't like it.
