Can you blame people for being skeptical? You're the only survivor of a massive tragedy, it's pretty much impossible to verify your story, almost everyone I know believes that the trauma has gotten to you and caused you to fill the blanks in your memory with an outlandish story.
Now, I don't think you're some kind of assassin or terrorist, especially not with how you were willing to freely admit that the East paid you, but it's hard to assume everything you ever said was the full truth.
For emphasis, you were found with a mountain of alcohol on you, what are people supposed to assume? That this was merely irrelevant and couldn't have affected you at all?
