The man, after being ignored, walks over to the receptionist and tries to start up a conversation.

"So, how have you been doing recently? The news hasn't exactly been pleasant in recent times."

It's your mask. Not exactly keeping up with the news, it seems, these hours aren't pleasant for a ball.

A man and a woman [Milte & Chem] walk down the hallways. The first is a pale man carrying a motorcycle helmet, the second sports a ponytail and a yellow coat.

"Uh... Maybe? Somewhere around..." He gestures around the messy table. "...here."

"So, how have you been doing recently? The news hasn't exactly been pleasant in recent times."

"No shit, right? Shit's fucked. Feels like we're at a war here. Anyone could be gone in a blink. Like we're... disposable." The man grins.

She walks up to the receptionist's table and looks over the mess.

Mr. Castillo inspects the trash at the desk. Cigarette butts; beer cans; mary jane; magazines; left over junk food; a pile of leaflets for some kind of newsletter.

"Get better? Hmm. I dunno. I just try not to think too much about it. Things never turn out the way you expect them to." Again, he ends with a pause and a grin.

Not seeing what she's looking for, she rolls her eyes at [Cyan], walks away from the desk, and lingers by the door she came in, muttering under her breath.
