The aircraft reaches its cruising altitude of 35,000 feet above the ground.

The Captain engages the autopilot and undoes his safety belt, then turns to exit the cockpit to speak with the Jurists.

Spoiler: Image

"Welcome to this tribunal, Jurists.

My name is Captain San Calixto and I will be your Foreman for today's tribunal.
I would like to formally apologize for the lack of maps available to you for this flight, they were not delivered on time.
I will now give a brief overview of the case and how things will operate on this flight.

The case is between two parties: the Eastern Bloc and the Western Reformists. They are fighting over who has rights to a certain piece of land.
Each side claims that they need the land in order to build a power plant to sustain their growing population.
The two sides both refused to meet each other face to face in court, so this special international tribunal was established.

We are airborne to prevent any interference from either party or any third party during the trial.
Furthermore, if you look out the windows, you will notice we are approaching a rather nasty storm.
This will render communication to the outside world impossible for the duration of the tribunal.

At the conclusion of the tribunal, which will last a few hours, the votes will be tallied.
Majority vote will rule. You may vote at any point by using your screens.
There are dividers which will conceal your seat when voting.
You may change or cancel your vote at any point.
When the time has come to count the votes, all Jurists will have the opportunity to revise their votes.
In the event of a tie, we will continue the tribunal.
There will be votes to end the tribunal every few hours, until a victor is declared.
The vote does not need to be unanimous for this special tribunal.

If someone does not vote, or cancels their vote, their presence will be ignored.
So for instance if only seven Jurists vote, whichever party has more votes within those seven votes will be declared the victor.
However, if a Jurist selects the "Abstain" option, their presence will be counted but no vote will be tallied for either party.
A vote of "Abstain" should only be selected if a Jurist is undecided on who the victor in the tribunal should be.

Both parties have prepared their arguments for you.
You may view them in the Conference Room and in the Cinema.
I call for a vote tally in a few hours. All Jurists must return for the vote tally.
I will give a warning one hour before the vote tally to give you, the Jurists, the opportunity to revise your votes.
If you do not return for the vote revision, I will assume that you are satisfied with your vote.

You may now take off your safety belts and begin your viewing of the arguments and subsequent deliberations.
There are plenty of rooms in which you can deliberate as a group, or with select other Jurists.
Should you wish to ponder your choice alone, you may return to your seat and pull out the divider.
While not entirely soundproof, the divider does muffle most noise, which creates a good thinking environment.
It is encouraged that everyone view all the arguments at least twice.

Lastly, some doorways will require scanning an ID pass to enter.
These areas are restricted and should not be entered unless I open them for you.
There are intercoms located in every room in the aircraft with which you can communicate with me.
I have a portable microphone connected to the intercom system on my person.
Should any issue arise, or there are any legal terms or questions about the case you wish to have answered, please call me and I shall come.
I must return to the cockpit soon to navigate the aircraft through the storm, but I have a few minutes now for are any immediate questions.

Please enjoy your stay aboard Air LOF, your choice for Luxuriously Operated Flights."

Captain San Calixto takes out an ID card and scans it on the scanner to the south. The scanner beeps and the door unlocks.

Roaming has begun.

Captain San Calixto blocks him from doing so.

[Arckas] leaves to the south.

Giving out your name is even stupider, now that we know what this is about. I hope the reason why you shouldn’t is plainly clear.

It never is just a plant with politicians. And there’s no level of anonymity that could be bribed past.

Percival, Stanley and Mags enter the Lobby.

Aeolus, Jabal and [Nelly] are here too.

You emerge into a beautiful lobby. A large chandelier hangs overhead. A few small tables and chairs are scattered in the room. A coffee maker is in a corner of the room, and some fresh pastries lie next to a neatly stacked pile of plates. Some cutlery is neatly arranged next to the plates.

Hello, Parka. Cam seems to be a let down on the party front, but c'est la vie. You find anything particularly interesting?

A bunch of locked doors, for some reason, but no keycard.

So all doors out of here are locked, then?

Not terribly surprising. I suppose that means the cinema is to the right of the conference room. Probably meant to go watch things there, but I'm not desperately convinced that there's much of a reason. I think there's a much better way.

Mags pushes the intercom call button.

A few moments later, Captain San Calixto enters.

"Hello Jurists. You deliberations are going well, I hope.

I am here to answer and any all questions you may have regarding the case so you can come to an informed decision."

Beautiful. I would like to ask for clarification on several matters.

What exactly are the Eastern Bloc and Western folks? A country? Some sort of company? To what extent did they know about this trial taking place? Further, why is there a file of text so dense in legal terms a layperson has no chance of comprehending it? Surely that's a terrible way to make an argument. Where is this power plant to be located? Who are the major figures of these places?

So on and so forth. Some background details, you understand.
