Mr. W, my dear friend....the more bodies that accumulate in this manor pushes me more and more to believe that the true doom stems from this experiment succeeding. I question if the end will justify the means with every new phase that goes on, I worry I'm becoming selfish.
Despite that...we wouldn't know if we're doomed to succeed or fail. What we do or do not see does not determine what does or does not happen.
U.P.O and O.P.U, same song and dance...
Welcome to the final Decision Game. This will be the most important one you partake in during your stay here. While you are in here, you cannot use any abilities, items, or any sort of action towards other players.
We'll simply call this game 'Hot Potato'.
You are all suited with a collar around your neck that is armed with an explosive. When the light on the collar is on, that indicates that the explosive is primed and ready to detonate. The signal of this detonation reaches across the entire facility and cannot be escaped.
Movement will be done in turns, which will occur every 30 minutes. If someone does not submit a movement route, they will be moved to a random coordinate within 15 spaces of them that isn't occupied by another player. Whenever you move, you will move 1 space on the grid and must move via that manner. You cannot move diagonally, nor can you move over spaces you have already moved over. Additionally, you may not move more than 15 spaces per turn.
The one who has their collar primed will send in a coordinate on the route to me in private. The primed player cannot announce which coordinate they decided or will face immediate detonation, regardless of whether it is true or false.
Afterwards, all those who do not have their collars primed will begin their movements. If any of the unprimed players are within 1 space of coordinate that the prime player chose, they will become primed. If more than 1 player is within this area, the primed player will be decided at random. A player cannot be primed if they were the last person to be primed.
After either 24 hours or when 1000 spaces are walked, the detonation will occur. Whoever is primed at that point will detonate, and they will die. Additionally, the player who is furthest away from the primed player will also detonate. If more than one player is tied for the furthest distance, they will both detonate.
Distance is determined by your point on the grid. For example, a player at (1,1) and a player at (5,8) have a total of 11 spaces between them, as you move 4 spaces to the right and 7 spaces up.
Finally, within all of the information that I just said, one of them was a lie.
No one has to die, I wish you all the best of luck.
