Name: Vampire
Alignment: Neutral Chaos
Immunities: Attack - Basic, Defense - None (Basic If The Eldest)
Specials: Vampire Chat, 1 Night Wait Between Conversions, Spawns with Vampire Hunter
Type: Manipulation, Unique

Sheriff Interrogation Results (Non-Eldest): Your target is a Vampire!
Sheriff Interrogation Results (Eldest): Your target is not suspicious!
Investigator Investigation Results (Current): Your target must be a Framer, Vampire, Jester, or Hex Master.
Investigator Investigation Results (Mine): Your target is mischievous. They must be a Framer, Hex Master, Arsonist, or Vampire.
Consigliere/Coven Leader Results: Your target drinks blood. They must be a Vampire!

Summary: Someone among the undead who converts others at night.
Abilities: Bite another player at night.
Attributes: If your target would die, convert them into a Vampire instead unless they are a member of the Mafia, a member of the Coven, a Witch, a Guardian Angel, a Pirate, a Juggernaut without defense, or the Mayor. The youngest Vampire will bite the target. If your target is a Vampire Hunter, your ability will fail. You will be notified of this.
Goal: Convert everyone who would oppose you.
Victory Conditions: Current Vampire win conditions.

Achievements:
Count Dracula - Win 1 game as a Vampire.
Bill Compton - Win 5 games as a Vampire.
Night Walker - Win 10 games as a Vampire.
Nocturnal - Win 25 games as a Vampire.
Blood Lust - Convert a player into a Vampire.
True Blood - Have four Vampires alive at one time.
Grave Endeavors - Win without having any Vampires die.

Notifications:
Your target was a Vampire Hunter. You fled the scene!
You were disintegrated by the Vampire Hunter you visited! You have died!
You cannot convert two nights in a row.

Investigator Investigation Results (Current): Your target could be a Survivor, Vampire Hunter, Amnesiac, Medusa, or Psychic.
Investigator Investigation Results (Mine): Your target is very quiet. They must be a Vampire Hunter, Pirate, Survivor, Amnesiac, or Guardian Angel.
Consigliere/Coven Leader Results: Your target tracks Vampires. They must be a Vampire Hunter!

Summary: A priest turned monster hunter, this person slays Vampires.
Abilities: Check if a player is a Vampire at night. Use holy water on yourself.
Attributes: If your target is a Vampire, you will attack them. You will be notified of this. If a Vampire visits you, their ability will fail. You will be notified of this. If all of the Vampire die, you will become a Vigilante with one bullet. Holy water gives you a temporary Basic defense and disintegrates any visiting Vampires with a Powerful attack. Holy water has one use.
Goal: Lynch every criminal and evildoer.
Victory Conditions: Current Town win conditions.

Achievements:
Blade - Win 1 game as a Vampire Hunter.
Abraham Lincoln - Win 5 games as a Vampire Hunter.
Van Helsing - Win 10 games as a Vampire Hunter.
Alucard - Win 15 games as a Vampire Hunter.
Stake the Damned - Stake three Vampires in one game.
Constantine - Disintegrate a Vampire trying to visit you.
Jack Of All Trades - Shoot a non-Town after becoming a Vigilante.

Notifications:
You found a Vampire, so you staked them!
A Vampire visited you but fled the scene!
You disintegrated a Vampire attempting to convert you!
You have decided to ready your bottle of holy water.


-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Changes:
- The Vampire and Vampire Hunter are now unique and always spawn together.
- The Vampires now have an Eldest. The Eldest receives permanent Basic defense and permanent Detection immunity.
- The Vampire Hunter no longer counterattacks visiting Vampires. They can no longer read the Vampire Chat.
- The Vampire Hunter has a one time holy water ability. This gives them temporary Basic defense and disintegrates all visiting Vampires with a Powerful attack.
- New achievements.

This is great! Maybe rename the eldest to Dracula or "Count" (Example: Count Giles Cory)

However you say this:
Attributes: If your target would die, convert them into a Vampire instead. If your target is a Vampire Hunter, your ability will fail. You will be notified of this.


Make the Vampire Hunter be able to be converted if he would die and make him not unique anymore. (Also make at least 1 Vampire Hunter spawn when a vampire is in the game.)
Reason: The ability would fail anyway if he didn't die as you state by:
If your target would die, convert them into a Vampire instead.
So if he would die then make him be able to be converted.

2) Also that's DragonClaw clarifying the way the mechanic was reworked to allow vests to protect against bites. I'm not necessarily against allowing Vamps to convert VH.

I'm not actually against a convertable Vampire Hunter, but I feel like the rest of the player base would be. And now that one of the Vampires (the Eldest) is immune to stakes, I felt it was unnecessary. It's still up for debate, though.

Okay I can understand that. However why not make the Vampire Hunter convertible if he would die as the sheriff can still find them.

I don't like the change to investigative results for vampire. If that were implemented, in ranked, invest would get framer/arsonist, which is basically a death sentence.

I just want to clarify that the Vampire Hunter is immune to bites; it doesn’t die. It’s convertability is also still up for debate.

I will be changing the results because, as Dyao pointed out, the Arsonist is basically outed upon ignition.

These changes do not fix Vampires main issue of conversion and Vampire Hunter’s issue of being a hard counter.
RNG is never good for any strategy based game. Please learn the definition of what that means, especially if you're one of the people constantly defending it.

Well all vampire does is convert, you'd have to change the entire role to stop conversion
