Maybe lower the KPN a bit, but it's a good concept.

Edit: Wait shit shadowwalker. You might need to make it more diffrent than shadowwalker

This is different (a lot so) from Shadowalker?

Also the KPN is the main reason I proposed the role. It accelerates the game and gives Town less time to scumread and plan efficiently.

I'm just confused on how it works, can you do a play by play? Also. What if you force a non-visiting role to kill? What happens if someone attacks you?

Example:

N1: Berserker visits the Escort, by random choice.
N2: Berserker visits the Medium, who appeared to be clueless in day chat. Escort thinks that somebody is suspicious so they use their kill on them.
N3: Berserker can't visit. Medium randomly selects and accidentally kills the Transporter. Escort commits suicide.
N4: Berserker notices Investigator is getting close to finding him, so he visits him. Medium commits suicide.
N5: Berserker visits the Godfather. Investigator attacks a Executioner, and, failing their attack, suicides immediately.

...etc.

Can you explain this role clearer? I don't understand the mechanic of this role.

The Berserker will pick a target at night. The next night, the target will be notified that they were visited by the Berserker. They will be given, in replacement of their night ability, a single column to select one person to deal a Basic. If they fail to select a target, the game will randomly select a target for them.
If they select a night immune person, they will immediately die. Otherwise, they will survive the night and be able to communicate with the town as normal (undecided on this feature). The next night, they will still be able to perform their night action (e.g. investigating, attacking, vesting) and will be dealt a Basic attack at the end of the night.

So their target will be changed to the one they kill?

?
They choose who they will kill. This helps balance the KPN and adds a new twist on picking targets, where picking the smartest ones may not be best.

I meant does the berserker's target kill the following night or the same night?

The following night, when they are aware they will be killing somebody.

I'm not a fan of delayed kills.

Why is it a bad mechanic (here)?

(Just noting, the only way to change it from a delayed kill to an instant kill is to make selecting somebody to kill a day action.)

How so?

You can do it twice every 3 nights, assuming all targets are non-immune. With an immune target selected by your target, it gets reduced a bit, but almost always remains over 1 KPN.

So it can't objectively kill, but otherwise a tiny little buff to sk. Like sure 1 extra kill every 3 days, but at the same time can't control who it kills ha;f the time, meaning he can't control the game that well. Which is all you have to do as a neutral killing, control the game, balance the sides, keep chaos, and good a fake claim in there somehow. But he doesn't have enough to do with confirmed kills, so he can't do that

He still has a 0.66 KPN in there, for his own use. The main point of this role was not to make it easy to win as; it was designed to have more of an overall impact on the game, while still giving it the tools to (possibly) win.

Weak and has no control over the deaths, but not in a good way.

you don't really mention this but a berserkerd person is also roleblocked since they are forced to attack a person that would mean they don't get to use there night ability right?

----------------------------------------------------

also how does this get 1.33 kills per night mind giving a night by night example of this role in action in a game?

edit i missed the fact they die after they kill/attack someone seems very strong took away my questions pertaining to that i still don't see how this has 1.33 kills a night

------------------------------------------------------------

giving people the power to kill doesn't feel very fun when the person knows for SURE they will die the night after maybe add a way they can be saved from dying?

by doctor? or maybe if the kill the right person with their beserk ability i dunno

poisoner does this yes but doc can save poisoned people you have no way beskered people can be saved after they kill someone

it just seems this role wouldnt be fun to play against knowing you will die with no counters to it doesn't make playing the game fun

This would probably be a buff, but I think it would be better if the target was not notified that they had gotten bloodlust. Simply, whoever their target/primary target is, is the person they will attack. This adds more strategy to the role as you want to try and predict who they will visit. If a role is selected that cannot visit, they will die at the end of the night. Also, this makes it so that there does not need to be a delay of one night between raging someone and when they attack, as it will simply have a high priority. However, you would have to figure out which way the priority goes in terms of an escort.

some targets don't visit though so it would alot time the kill would rng based since meduim mayor or vet or psychic didnt select anyone

also completely busted if they don't know they are beserked and TP or LO instantly kills the most important role in the game

its defiantly a buff and way to strong

Not quite sure how to balance this.

Ridiculously OP with immunity and ridiculously OP without it.

I meant that if the target is a non-visiting role, then they simply die. No other person is selected. As to it being too OP... well sheriffs dont investigate the same person every night. You are just as likely to have them check as sus jester claim. And how is that any different from an SK just attacking the jailor by chance. It means that town has to be a bit more careful what information they give away, cus how are you going to know bg is on jailor if he doesnt say and jailor is unknown.
