The concept sounds great and i would love to see another chaos role! But the name sounds like it doesn't belong. It sounds like it would be very fun to play with though!

The Yandere shouldn't be able to attack people. Her special traits should be that she kills everyone her loved one targets. Because she thinks he will try to socialize with them. If the target is a killing role/Cannot target, she will instead have the ability of stalking 2 or 3 times.

1. If the Yandere couldn't choose who they attack, it wouldn't be considered a playable role.
2. Stalking is overpowered and should be used no more than once, for no reason other than to give an already weak role a minor buff.

Idea seems really well done.

Good job.

Maybe a different name though.

like: Stalker

A lot of people may not know what a Yandere is.
A name like Stalker gives the same impression.

That's what I got. Is that right?

And I also wanted to ask, "How does a neutral chaos work?" Because there are no neutral chaos roles in the current game, and they would have to create the faction to add any neutral chaos roles. This is strange to me, as really this means it never has a chance of making it into the game, which is really my all-time goal, to get a role into the game(Which probably won't happen, but still)...

NC does exist, but it only applies to factions (The only role in NC is Vampire, which is a faction/team role.) so it still wouldn't fit.

A senpai is an upperclassman in high school. Sempai refers to middle school.
Yandere is an anime archetype, so here senpai would refer to a generic anime protagonist with no personality that somehow gets a ton of suitors of their preferred gender, for example Kirito from the awful, awful anime SAO.

So there isn't a true NC in the game right now. But in ranked this role would only show up in the any slot, and it is strange to balance as we don't have a set game to balance it for.

And as for the Yandere stuff, I could definitely see somebody not know what it is. I didn't know because I don't watch anime that much(Anime is great and all but I just have time to watch it, don't kill me! xD), so I feel like the manority of people who don't watch the right animes won't get it

You might need to change it to where if a killer visits your obsession while you are stalking them, you are killed instead.
Otherwise if you are stalking your obsession every night you kill off every investigative roll, every support role, every kill roll, every controller roll. So it'd end up being mediums, jesters, exe, and you really.

was about to say this sounds alot like the yandere role in TG went to find role in TG thread clicked link and was brought back to this page and then facepalmed

i thought this was the TG role called stalker and that's why i was confused didnt realized you renamed it from yandre to stalker

what about unquie town roles being able to protect roles like mayor or ret seems problematic to me

also amnesiac can remember evil unique roles now would they get the same target as you had when you died or different random one?

i realize this role is quite old but the correct terminology now is stating the roles attack and defense like this

Attack: Basic
Defense: Basic

is Serial killers stats for example

i bielve your role would be

Attack: Powerful
Defense: Basic

Can kill one person each night (doesn't necessarily have to).

is this attack basic or powerful i know u said stalking always kills but does the normal attack?

maybe nerf this to every other night? but make attack powerful ( i don't like how similar this is to sk)

If your obsession visits you at night, you will be role blocked; if an escort/consort who is not your obsession visits you, they will be killed.

thats fair and makes sense lore wise as well

If you target your obsession at night, you will stalk them, roleblocking them and killing whoever visits them, piercing night immunity. (Doing so reveals the identity of the Stalker to their obsession.)

ehhhh so WW for a night then besides primary target? dunno how a feel about that kinda uniorginal why not try think of cool limited ability unique to the role?

(i have an idea for new ability but i have not balanced in my head yet but i'll post what i'm currently thinking)

a one time ability that lets you kill anyone (or maybe only up to half them) who did these things

a person the obsession visits
-or a person that visits the obsession
-or a person whispers to the obsession (making it so the obsession can whisper and trigger an attack would be OP so only if whispered too)
-or a person votes guilty on your obsession

Goal: Eliminate the competition. (Be the last one standing, with the person you're obsessed with.)

this is a very hard win condition i suggest you consider my kill conditions and new ability idea

If your obsession dies (in which case, you've already lost) , you will go on a rampage and kill:
-1/3 of the people who voted guilty on them (minimum of 1), if they were hung.
-The person(s) who killed them, if they died at night.
-Yourself, no matter what.

do you mean kill yourself too after you kill them? the last line is kinda wonky

i dunno how i feel about this the role lost right so why is killing people? i feel like this a dick move to do cause you can choose not kill anyone right is it optional? what's the point of killing people it if the role has already lost

i get its sorta like jester in this regard to promote not hanging/killing a person? the thing with jester though is it kills because its won and can be played around this role just kills when its losses i feel like this cant be played around, cant really play around it unless they find and kill you first

what's the point in killing people for free if you've lost it just doesn't seem fair to me, sure lore wise it makes sense cause your an insane stalker, but balance wise it just seems like oh i lost i get to kill people just because?

these abilities don't protect they just give others penalties when the stalker loses

i think this needs to be removed but i'm not sure what to replace it with

maybe give it a day ability that protects the obsession somehow i dunno how really instead this i grudge kill lots of people cause i lost BS

Investigator: Your target is covered in blood. They could be the Doctor, Disguiser, Serial Killer, or Stalker. Might change based on changing investigator results.

yea maybe change it to the current inves result its been a while since the invest results were changed

some achievements names are just guidelines (you can change them)

whisper your obsesion - Notice ME!
have your obsession whisper - Noticed
have your obsesion vote guilty on you - Betrayed
