Well, I originally wanted to test it the way it was, but there were a few people arguing against it. So there's a Discord chat where we're trying to remake it into something better, but everyone's been AFK. So we're sort of at a standstill.

Maybe something you can add is if your loved one is killed, then you turn into a Jester? Just because if your loved one died night one, there would be no reason for them, they would just be there. Kind of like the Executioner. I think this is a really good idea and that staff notices!

You didn't read the whole role. If the loved one dies, the Yandere goes on a rampage and commits suicide. It will NOT change roles. Changing roles is frowned upon.

You shouldnt need to have the mafioso and framer killed to win, i think if your loved on reaches their win con you win. or you would have to kill off tons of town just to win with a town lover.

The thing is, if it can side with the entire faction, then that makes the Yandere overpowered, in that they won't have as many people trying to kill them. But if the Yandere doesn't care who they kill as long as it's not their loved one, then there will be more incentive on all sides to get the Yandere killed.

You seem like the kind of guy who leaves games early all the time, like if there were vampires in the game and you were too lazy to try and get rid of them. Nice going.

Or if you happened to be a role you didn't like, but could have been really useful to your faction if you actually knew what you were doing (in case you couldn't tell, I'm not particularly fond of those types of people).

I really dislike the idea of Yandere killing off anyone that did their obsession any harm. It effectively severely punishes people for trying to win. I would try to gear the role more towards keeping the obsession alive rather than having it kill people for no reason.

Roles that already punish or get punished for trying to win:

Jester
Vigilante
Jailor
Escort
Consort
