I think this will work in tg, fm and the game itself but there is one problem, the name. Now after much thought I really cant think of a name that could fit but I do think that distributor is way to long and complicated. maybe it doesnt need a new name just a nickname like we call serial killer sk beacuse the word is to long. My suggestion is dis.

Distributor is a good name for this role. The name doesn't need a change. As for an abbreviation dist is a good one.

For investigation results, it would be simpler to just give both individual results, with the original flavor text and role groupings, as two separate entries in chat. The order the results would appear in would be determined by the order the Distributor selected his targets.

For example, A is Survivor and B is a Consigliere. Distrubutor's first target is A and second target is B.

Investigator investigates one of the targets. In the chat they see:
Your target keeps to themselves. They could be a Survivor, Vampire Hunter, or Witch.
Your target has sensitive information to reveal. They could be an Investigator, Consigliere, or Mayor.

Sheriff investigates one of the targets. In chat they see.
Your target is not suspicious.
Your target is a member of the Mafia!

Consigliere investigates one of the targets. In the chat they see:
Your target simply wants to live. They must be a Survivor!
Your target gathers information for the Mafia. They must be a Consigliere!

(This gives the flavor text for Consigliere investigations of Mafia members an actual place in the game!)

Since investigative roles will have no idea which result applies to their initial target, (unless they are a Consig and another Mafia member was targeted) they are left to guess which result is correct and/or re-investigate the same role again. This eliminates having to specially code a way for custom investigation result lists for investigative roles to meet the mechanical requirement of this role.

Daychat for Mafia would be pretty awkward to code though so NC seems like a good place for this in ToS

Vigilante guilt though? Jailor targets? Do any kills ever get attributed to this role?

I agree the ability is a bit long, but I do not think this is exactly a "poor mans transporter", because it has the basic idea of choosing two people, but really that's about it I would say.

Difference is that unlike transporter, the action isn't redirected. It happens to both of the targets. This makes it more powerfull than a transporter

Sorry, I made this role a long time ago and just added lookout being unable to see two people. Also, thanks for telling me about vampire biting.

The problem with this role is that it increases KPN for scum. NE's shouldn't add KPN.

This role is really unique, and has lots of capabilities in both helping evils and hindering the Town.

It can select confirmed town roles and anyone it thinks is scum, and it makes the scum get healed, gives it slight protection against TIs, and also makes shooting scum risky for TKs.

At the same time it can make scum kills get a double kill, love it!

I have a few questions about interactions:

Would Witches control both people onto their 2nd target? I would like this.
Would Vamps bite two people? This would be pretty cool as well.

I don't think it needs a buff, it can do pretty well right now. But I'm not great with balancing so don't take my word for it :lol:

Mafia, yes. But for NKs, you have to consider a few things:

1. They are underpowered as it is. This role buffs them quite well.

2. It may sound OP, but think about it, what are the chances that Distributor and NK would target the same person every night?

One exception is the Werewolf. Werewolf should be immune to this, it would be too chaotic.
