No. Scum autovests not only encourage better play but allow for better synergy with other evil roles.

P-EDIT: Jailor should pierce this role as well. (._. )

Strategical balance - understanding that whisper games are bad because there's no reason to use any other strategy

Structural balance - understanding that disabling the Mayor's whispers, despite it fixing whisper games, means that a player can't use a core mechanic of the game and is still bad

In my opinion, a role that already has a power shouldn't get vests. Much less a auto-vest. Survivors get vests because it's there sole ability. BG because they are TP. Witch has mega-useful power, and can confirm to evils. Politician could MAYBE have one vest, but it should be manual.

Manually press a button to put on a vest, AND steal someone's vote?
It would be too confusing to know which button does which :|

It shouldn't have a manual vest as a NE, that's for TP who protect people otherwise.

I don't understand why it wouldn't need protection against it's own friends.

Town has protection against it's own friends, just a less good way

Vig kills self
Jailor can't kill.

I mean, it's not like they know you're their friend. Act too pro-town but not enough to get protected and they'll kill you anyways.

Mafia don't know if the Witch is their friend.

Either way, needs protection.

This is basically turning the role into Evil Survivor+. You get survivor abilities, and commandeer votes.

The fact that it can't win with town, combined with the fact that it must live, is a major nerf by default.

It has a Witch Wincon, right?

So, I don't understand the issue.

Still needs protection.

Also, Witches have the same deal. THEY need protection.

I actually really enjoy this role concept and can see it working in the game. Glad I came across this!

Definitely in favor of it being night immune and Neutral Evil.

No, not night immunity. Scum autovest at most.

Or yes, that. Either way it needs some sort of protection or it'll be screwed over like the Witch.

It needs one automatic vesting system at least. It's unique, so night immunity can be argued.

I do like this role in theory, although I'm not sure about the whole protection stuff and how to deal with that. I'm really not contributing anything to the conversation- just felt like bumping the thread tbh.

If you're forced to bribe yourself, you should get two votes, that can be used the same way.

LeftBox: Mace has voted against Trump
RightBox: Vote counter goes up with no notification

Achievements
The new Don: Win with Mafia
No town left to lead: Win with a Neutral Killer
Let's just go home: Win with ONLY A Survivor, or another NE
Pointless: Win by yourself
Remember to vote for me: Win alone WITH an Amnesiac who forgot to remember
NOPE: Bribe a Mayor to have him reveal and steal his vote back from you
It's a bloody business: Bribe a Vampire
Republican: Bribe a Godfather
Double Trouble- Bribe yourself
That's my job: Vote an Executioner, or Framer
Honest Politician: Don't bribe anyone and win
Cold War: Bribe a dead person [killed by nontown]
Success: Bribe a Town member that is lynched/killed by town some time after the bribe
I returned and I saw the light return to my eyes.

That would be cool.
I'll implement it.
And thanks, I was hoping someone would help me with those :)

Look at the Witch and Transporter.

They have two target (other) boxes.

One is on the left, one on the right.

By the way,

back to achievements.

replace Honest Politician with Honest Abe.

Replace Remember to vote for me with remember to vote.

I know they were my ideas, just edited.
