Scum reading was definitely a factor in our loss. We read Mafia members as Town and Cits as evil.

Admittedly I played like shit and my targets were bad, rotten luck getting two of the people that were killed. And of course poly just had to be the only visiting role that doesn't visit night 1. Oh well.
I knew from the start this game was a mistake to join and I regret not replacing out way earlier. I apologise. This isn't how I like to play FM.

But major hosting problems didn't help our chances much either.
Like not giving role cards before the game started, meaning pretty much all of day 1 was a waste and town were already at a major disadvantage. I really don't understand the logic behind that. If you're not ready to give role cards, just don't even start the game. Discussion is town's greatest power in FM type games, and if an entire day phase is all NAI because we don't know our alignments, it's pointless; the game really didn't start till day 2, when we were already 2 town members down.

Also lack of prods. Andilin didn't post for all of day 3 and barely at all day 4 and 5. Also my slot remaining empty for an entire day phase was something that really really hurt town too (I replaced out at the start of day 4). Even if I hadn't replaced out already I was long overdue for a force replacement before day 4 even ended yet you didn't do it till the start of day 5, meaning the slot didn't get a check.

In terms of the victory, yeah, roz played pretty well I thought, but mafia only really won because town was way worse (myself included, regrettably), along with being put at a pretty significant disadvantage.

Please gooose, if you're going to host another TG game, give people their roles before starting the game, and stick to your prod timers/replacement rules. And replace people out when they request it.
