so, our recent games have maybe not been so successful and as a result you may not be exited or have lost hope in actually getting a role tested, that's fair enough but I can assure you, each time we find a mistake we try our best to fix it, I mean look at yesterday's game, we had 9 people, that's more than the 5 we had in our previous one and even more than 7 we have in our regular games! so I would ask you, stick with us for a bit more, and we will have successful tests

Mechanics:
·Each run will last the same Day/Nights as a Town of Salem game.

·Pretend as if you are playing real Town of Salem so these roles are tested correctly. All ToS mechanics will be treated as if you were playing real ToS.

What will we be testing?
We will be testing the Scientist, a link to that an be found here, we are also testing Kittens new client(with possibly some anti-troll functions)

Along with the host, and participants signed up.

The standard timeframe is on Saturday at 6pm UTC forward. If you have any objections to that time please post them in the timeframe discussion thread.

You can signup as confirmed, unconfirmed, or backup. If you are unconfirmed you can confirm any time before the day of the test. Those that are unconfirmed on the day of will be moved to the bottom of the backup list(while still being considered unconfirmed).

Once the day of the test arrives I will state that we are starting and pm all the missing players, once participants have stated they are ready it can begin.

Look Edmund wanted to kill the Survivor/Witch as Mafia my only option was to kill at random and look where that got us; we practically won by forfeit. We will get a 15 person game soon I BELIEVE!!!!

You wouldn't be testing you would just have a bunch of roles that made no sense with each other. If one role was broken then the whole test would be over. See what I mean?

Yeah but it should be at least 2 or 3 roles tested and one for each...

Multiple roles (as was said) if unrelated wouldn't work well to safely see results. However!
there are 3 exceptions the third being new.

1.Two roles that rely on each other to exist.
Now typically the council will see these roles received with poor review and likely won't test them now. Simply because we aren't a big enough group to test whatever we want. As of right now I'm trying to focus on simple tests and getting a consist testing grounds that isn't broken every time.

2.Factions
Again council isn't likely to accept these any where in the near future but once things are more frequent (my goal is to someday have multiple tests being run with separate groups. So Achro and such can join us. But thats later.)
Closer to that time factions can be tested.

And 3.Fully tested role ideas
Once a role idea has been fully tested (what that entails is vague. But id say three consistent games) it can be used along with newer untested role ideas. Think of them as veteran role ideas at that point, still testable but consistent enough to trust while testing another idea.


Also, I work 9:30-3 Saturday so I wont be here at the starting time but if it runs late or you do a second round once im able to be here ill gladly join.
