SIGNUPS for the upcoming game*Closed*

These signups are for those that have already joined as potential participants. If you have not, but want to participate, go here and follow the instructions in that thread.

Mechanics:
·Each run will last the same Day/Nights as a Town of Salem game.

·Pretend as if you are playing real Town of Salem so these roles are tested correctly. All ToS mechanics will be treated as if you were playing real ToS.

•If I can get an external chat up and running before this game (currently in a active testing phase) then we will be using that. Some things are still being figured out, the FAQ will be updated with an external chat(day and all different night)

The Control role list is as follows:
Jailor
Town Investigative
Town Protective
Town Support
Town Killing
Random Town
Random Town
Random Town (1)
Godfather
Random Mafia
Random Mafia (2)
Random Neutral (3)
Neutral Evil
Neutral Killing
Any

(1): If the role idea is a Town role, the idea will replace it.
(2): If the role idea is a Mafia role, the idea will replace it.
(3): If the role idea is a Neutral role, the idea will replace it.

This list includes three random town, Not because I think that makes a balanced list. But because it adds variety, which will allow tests to have results with a wider range of roles. Same as random mafia and random neutral.

The current time will be listed under the Next Game topic.

The standard timeframe is on Saturday at 6pm UTC forward. If you have any objections to that time please post them in the timeframe discussion thread.

You can signup as confirmed,unconfirmed, or backup. If you are unconfirmed you can confirm any time before the day of the test. Those that are unconfirmed on the day of will be moved to the bottom of the backup list(while still being considered unconfirmed).

Once the day of the test arrives I will open a ready post, once participants have stated they are ready it can begin.

I have a lot of experience with ToS, and would be very interested in this project. If you do let me play, could you tell me what date it would be? I know it's on a Saturday, but the other post said Saturday the 3rd, but when you posted the latest update, it was after that... Can you please confirm the times for me?

That isn't the game starting time, thats just when we start to gather everyone. The game starts once people are gathered.

We currently have a rough estimate of 12 people. A very appreciated amount.
I'm making this post as an update on the external chat situation.
While I understand the inconvenience of refreshing the page often as you must on the forum. It is not a broke function, but I know that an external chat would make things much easier. However the best real time external chat I have found has met with some complications. I have attempted to contact the administration of that site, and hope to hear back soon. Until then I hope we can continue to grow here in the testing grounds. And run tests as we have been. Or even better than we have been.

If your counting the any then yes, the role idea replaces random neutral. The role list may change before we get to a neutral killing.
