Here are my views on each of the roles:

Charmer by superdog551: Could be difficult to play effectively, but a unique TP that could lead to some interesting plays

Technician by Cavespider17: Has multiple abilities, JoaT roles tend to be hard to balance for ToS

Illusionist by syjfwbaobfwl: Way weaker than Witch rn, but could be interesting if it is buffed

With that said, I am going to second Charmer.

I am also going to nominate Blacksmith. I may nominate Historian, my other recent role idea, but I would like to nerf it a little before submitting it.

I will second the Blacksmith by Alex. I think the illusionist has a cool concept but definitely needs to be buffed before it's ready to be tested.

Lookout nerf: I like the idea, but I think it'll increase the number of people asking for TPLO, which isn't a great meta. I prefer my rework since it doesn't affect the meta.

Historian: I didn't nominate it because I was planning on looking back and nerfing it if enough people wanted to, but not many people are answering the poll and those that are answering seem to think it's fine.

Bishop: Definitely an interesting role, but it can lead to everyone visiting a Bishop claim. If scum fakeclaims Bishop, they get protection for a night but they're also going to be investigated and likely outed. But it would be interesting to see how it would play out in a real game.

I'm going to second Bishop and Historian.

Also nominating Transporter Rework:
-Transporters can be roleblocked
-Alerted Veteran kills Transporters before they have the opportunity to trans them

Transporter: (1) Can now be roleblocked
Transporters should not be immune to roleblocking, they are a very powerful & useful role and will still be without their roleblock immunity. Lorewise it makes no sense for a Taxi Driver to be immune to the persuasions of Hookers (esc, con).

Transporters having roleblock immunity was implemented as an easy way to deal with Priority issues.

(2) Transporting a Vet
A Veteran is meant to shoot anyone who visits them. It makes no sense for the Veteran to be transported whilst on alert, and after this kind man has driven him around for the Veteran to just kill the Transporter and people visiting the player Vet is transported with.

Instead, if a Transporter chooses to transport a Veteran. The Transporter will be instantly killed and his other target will not be transported.


And finally Veteran/Witch Rework:
-Veteran no longer Unique or at least 2 maximum
-Non visiting roles can be sent onto Veterans and killed if the Veteran has alerted

Veteran: No longer unique
No reason for a Veteran to be unique, it isn't a super important town power role like Mayor or Jailor, and removing it from being Unique would open up claim space for evils. Having 4 Veterans would be insane, but 4 Vigilantes and 4 Escorts is also very insane and unbalanced. I'd like to see 2 Maximum Veterans possible.

Witch: All non-visiting targets can be made to visit.
Completely unrealistic that a powerful Witch cannot make a Medium or a Mayor etc visit anyone. This is a simple buff for the Witch, but would make the game more realistic and balanced. Witch should be able to control anyone and make them visit. They can control Jailor, Medium, Mayor etc. These roles will appear to visit on Lookout and Tracker wills and will also be able to visit a Veteran and be killed from an alerted Veteran

I like the idea of having a Mafia Jailor and Blacksmith seems like it would be very interesting to play as. Auditor seems well balanced. I'm unsure about the other roles as Judge and Marshall seem like they would create some chaotic games. The Veteran rework makes sense but the Transporter one is a bit complicated so for now I'll

Sorry for the confusion.

I forgot to update the OP, but I plan on doing unlimited votes this time. It looks like we're going to have around 15 roles which was where I placed the cutoff for limiting the number of votes, but most people seem to want more than four votes. Functionally limiting it to 6 and making it unlimited aren't too different right now since most people aren't going to vote for more than half the roles, and I prefer approval voting since you don't have to vote against roles that you like.

If someone decides to second all the nominated roles at the last minute or something else weird happens, I'll limit the number of votes so that people don't have to read through 25 role ideas, but I don't expect that to be necessary.


Edit: Here are my thoughts on Mars's roles

Marshall- Self-confirming Town, I think confirmability is a broken mechanic since Town is supposed to be the uninformed minority. The group lynch is an interesting concept though.
Sniper- Independent Mafia Killing, I could see it as a Coven role but I'm not sure whether 1 kill is too weak. Maybe with the Necronomicon it could get one unstoppable KPN but idk if that's way too strong. Might balance out.
Judge- Cool idea, but in practice it would mostly be used in the endgame when scum are one away from majority. With the Judge's votes they could cause a mislynch and gain majority with a kill that night. That doesn't take much skill
Transporter Rework- Arguably better than the current mechanic, but this is a minor action that rarely occurs and even more rarely has a significant effect on the game. I'm not sure how we would test it and get meaningful results in 7-10 player games.

Right now I can't second any of these roles, but I would be open to seconding Sniper as a Coven role.

Also, I nominate my Vampire Rework.
