This means they together complete 5/12 of the house in an hour, so it will take them 12/5=2.4 hours to complete the house. Perpendicular length is 2sqrt(2) (set as x and equate Pythagorean triangles) making the side lengths 2sqrt(6) and 2sqrt(3) and the area then 12sqrt(2)… similar triangles would also have worked.
