you arent wrong. it doesnt work the same and it takes away some of the capabilities that a forum has. However it is SIGNIFICANTLY better for general discussion and allowing new members to join a community. cant say I dont miss how threads work here though

can confirm being bad at FM puts you in charge of dead parts of the forums

In champs 2023 the following communities that's related-ish to ToS is invited:
"Town of Salem: Anticipation" (apparently a discord server that hosts ToS FM stuff?)
"Role Ideas and TG" (I assume this is ToS role ideas and TG but could be wrong)
"Town Of Salem: Necronomicon Returns" (absolutely no idea what this is)

So no, don't think FM got invited
But makes sense though because FM is like absolutely dead with all its members scattering to the four winds and either not playing FM anymore or joining other communities like mu or fol

I think there's a requirement that invited communities need like at least 1 finished FM game to qualify which ToS FM absolutely doesn't

We did get invited last year tho because some games were hosted in the FG section
