Bureaucratic Mafia
Everyone here in Salem Inc. has the same story. They were specialists hired for being absolutely unparallelled in their field, they filled out forms to join the highly prestigious company (nobody really actually knew what said company did, but it was famous for being highly prestigious for what they did), they became a worker. Then there were even more forms, and more paperwork, and more desk jobs like getting the coffee or buying more pens, until everyone realised they never got anything done!
Then, disaster struck. The Chief Operations Officer was found murdered in his office, an unregulated post-it note found on his corpse. It appears the Mafia has risen again, cloaked in their red tape and out to destroy the Town again. With all the layers of bureaucracy, how is anyone supposed to do anything here?

Section 06.8: Game-specific Rules
- - This is a closed game, meaning all rolecards are hidden.
- Rolecards will not flip on death.
- The role or faction that caused a kill will not be shown upon a player's death.
- All rolecards contain nothing but the truth. No players will have any traits hidden from them.
- There are no Cultists, Vampires, or otherwise alignment-converting roles present in this game.
- All roles have a specific wincon stated. There are no roles with a hidden win condition.
Ruleset 86.01 §4293.5: Game Mechanics
- - This is a 20-player Role Madness game, meaning there are no “true” Citizens. However, since everyone is too tied up with filling out forms, not everyone can use a night action at night.
- To determine who can use their night action for the coming night, everyone is required to submit votes via blind ballot box (PMing the moderator during the day) to decide who can use their action for the night.
- The players with the most votes will be informed of how many votes they received, and then be able to choose whether or not they use their night action that night.
- The amount of players eligible for receiving a night action is (Living players)/3, rounded down. For example: If there are 13 living players, 4 votes would need to be submitted.
- It will not be publicly revealed who voted for whom every day.
- In the event of a tie for the players eligible for a night action, yet the lowest number of votes, the two or more players will both be able to use their night actions. (Example: If there are 4 players allowed to use night actions, and there is a tie in votes for the players with the 4th highest amount of votes, they can both use their night action.)
- From Day 2 and onwards, a lynch is available. These votes must be publicly posted in the game thread, or they will not count.
Subsection 8.09 (4): Exceptions to mechanics
- - For a rare few roles, they can be issued Executive Orders, meaning they do not require any votes at all for their action to function. Potential Examples: Retributionist, Godfather, Amnesiac
- The Mafia always has a factional kill available to them, which does not count as a usable night action. However, a Mafia member with a night action may not also perform the factional kill.
