WHAT DO YOU TWO THINK?"
*BOOM*
A flash shines throughout the underground, blinding everyone. The ground feels like it is no longer there. The world seemed to cease to exist for an indeterminable amount of time. Then
Suddenly
The world was back
But something was wrong. The barrier had returned. People’s memories seemed to have changed. Distrust had run amok in the underground.
Then, at that moment, a figure appeared. Someone very familiar, especially to two specific people in the room.
W.
D.
Gaster.
A man made of the void, he started to explain something to everyone, his voice cutting through the entire underground.
“Welcome everyone, to my experiment with time manipulation. All of you come from different timelines.”
“I understand that you are confused, and may want to kill each other.”
“That’s completely fine.”
“However those that die… well…”
“T̴he̴y̕ ͝aren'̸t̸ going ͏ba̛ck ̴t̀o̸ ̛t͜h̀eír ͏t͟i͘m̵el͝i̷ne̷.”
“If you must get rid of people, for whatever reason.”
“Throw them into the Core, and I will deal with them, personally.”
“You are free to do what you like now… have fun.”

I am here to confirm that I, am in fact, cohosting this pitch.
Maybe it'd be nice to stop thinking...

True and I helped out with designing and balancing the game. I can confirm that the game is well made, balanced, and high in quality. Probably the best CFM pitch I've seen to date. The flavor is good and original, the mechanics and roles used are fresh and well thought out. All in all, I would be highly disappointed if this game wasn't hosted, and would even like to see it hosted before my own.

10/10

There's not much to base voting yes without any information, but I want to play this so no, don't give me any.
I like that the game itself will be based on flavour as it is written by many. That can add another level of gameplay, but may give advantage to those who are more expirienced in Undertale.

Any countermeasures to that (such as your own story plot)? If yes, 10/10 from me.

The game features original flavor (based on the game's flavor) written by Milte and Leyva so the game can't be solved through game knowledge alone. Players with no knowledge of Undertale can perform about as well as those who have played the game. The vast majority of the game was designed before I had even played the game, if that is of any assurance.

Maybe give some basis for information for those who never played or have seen undertale? Personally I enjoy closed setup games but I feel that I would not be able to play in this one as I have never played or seen much of undertale and would therefore be at a massive disadvantage in relation to everyone else.

From the information provided in the OP I can see clearly that this game is geared solely to those who have seen or played undertale and gives advantages based on how much they know about it. Personally I prefer to have all players on the same level when coming into a game, meaning that before role cards are given nobody has an advantage over anyone else.

Given that I have not indulged in the undertale hype, I will not be voting either way, but I do feel that the foundations of the pitch are not fair as the players do not enter on a level playing field.

I don't even know undertale, but the flavor idea looks really interesting, plus it's a closed setup. Looks really fun to play.

A prepared and reviewed role list and cards and one of the coolest concepts, you already know it's gonna be good. May add additional when the list comes out.

@LoF

You have raised a good point, probably the same as mine. But that makes me more curious to ask, yet I'm not sure if an answer will be provided:
Will there be atleast some introduction? If not, is the flavour you created not too connected to the main game?

Undertale is a very spoiler-heavy game when it comes to character development, as everything connects together. My concern is that some who even played Undertale may have not played ALL of it, or have not tried out some stuff etc.. and some may haven't at all.

What is there to stop people basing arguments solely off of flavor, or is that encouraged?

I think the best way to put it is that this game is like an interactive Undertale fanfiction, though the kind of fanfiction that could be taken as a standalone work. Like how 50 Shades of Gray is a fanfiction, but you don't need to read Twilight to enjoy it.

It's well, very interesting after looking at it. The flavour is actually very well done and you can plainly see that both Leyva and Milte belong in a mental hospital after reading through.

The formatting really makes it unplayable. Still.

I trust the arrangement of users that organized the closed set-up. There's not much to analyze off the pitch of a closed set-up, so...

- 20 players is a good, balanced number which will be easy to manage.
- No whispers will prevent town leaders getting too much power and flourish the chaos.
- The flavor idea sounds interesting, discussion should never reach down-points with this addition.

Let's all go crazy together. /vote yes
