CFM Pitch Rules

  1. All games pitched must be Forum Mafia or variants thereof.
  2. Each phase of a game must be between 24-168 hours (1-7 days).
  3. Games must be between 3-45 players.
  4. All changes made to a pitch must be noted in the thread to inform everyone.
  5. Users may post as many pitches as they like.
  6. Joke pitches are prohibited.
  7. If one's pitch is run, the host may not submit another pitch until after their game is over.
  8. Advertising one's Pitch is prohibited.
  9. Harassing the FM Mods about your pitch is prohibited.
  10. If you'd like to scrap one of your pitches, please inform an FM Mod to put it in the closed pitches section.
  11. If you'd like to revive one of your pitches, please inform an FM Mod to move it back into the CFM Pitch section.
  12. If you would like a poll of some sort to be added to your Pitch, you may do so on your own.
  13. If you add a poll, the poll must not contain things like "Do you like this pitch?" But instead focus on the mechanics of the game.
  14. If you would like to suggest a game for the FM Mods to run, you may post it here. Please title it [Game Idea] along with your original title. Don't do this unless you're okay with an FM Mod picking up your game. You will get credit for your work.

CFM Pitch Guidelines

  • Pitches are to be submitted to the FM Mods once the user believes the pitch is at it's peak.
  • You may only submit one pitch to the FM Mods at a time.
  • Pitches submitted must follow the rules above.

When posting your idea in the CFM Pitch section
  1. Games must include the number of players involved.
  2. If a game is Closed, all systems, roles, and mechanics should be reviewed by an FM Moderator, or another user (or users) for review.
  3. If a game is Open, all systems, roles, and mechanics must be openly viewable in the thread.
    This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Role List
    • Game Specific Mechanics
    • Game Specific Rules
    • Investigation Results (if applicable)
    • A comprehensive list of all Roles which will be in play.
    • Role cards do not have to be done, but if there are new roles, decriptions of them need to be shown

    When submitting your Pitch to an FM Moderator
    1. If a game is Closed, all systems, roles, and mechanics must be submitted.
    2. If a game is Open, all systems, roles, and mechanics must be submitted.
    3. Role cards do not have to be finished, but if there are new roles, they need descriptions on what they do.
    4. If an FM Moderator see's that your pitch does not include the above, they will ask you to change it.

    CFM Hosting Rules

    1. The FM Moderator Co-Host of a game has the final say on game-related decisions. CFM Hosting Rules may be added, removed, or modified by the FM Moderator Co-Host at his or her own discretion.
    2. You may only have 1 other Co-Host besides the FM Moderator Co-Host
    3. Fairness and respect are paramount. Abuse of one's power over a game as a host is prohibited.
    4. All spectators must be cleared by the FM Moderator Co-Host prior to receiving any game-related information.
    5. All standard FM rules apply to games, unless otherwise stated.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Once a CFM game ends or when an FM Moderators decides to start an extra CFM game, the FM Moderators will vote on the completed Pitch Submissions in the FM Mod Forum to determine the best pitch at the time.
This was not the scumslip you were looking for.
