This.... this is a great idea.
An anonymous game is what the FM community needs right now.
No more tunnel-visioning based on past games, or biased targetting based on how good a player is. Its all fresh, new and fun.
It would be just like restarting the subforum again with Game 1. Nobody knows how eachother plays, and its all a learning experience.
It would be just like Vanilla ToS, but more extensive.

Just wondering, are the signups going to be private? I think going into this game without knowing the faces behind the anonymous masks would be a great experience.
But if the signups are public, I'm fine with that too. A lot of pointless discussion may result during the day though, of 'who I think this person could be' and such.
In my opinion, you should not allow people to write who they are in Wills either. A mass Reveal at the closing of the game would be really fun to see who was who.

1. It will do the (actual, not placeholder account) username of the Framer. And since it won't be showing the name of the Placeholder accounts, I think it will be fine.

The Investigator change makes it broken. Say we have player A is the Mayor, and player B is the Godfather.
I investigate player A.

My results come back as "They are either Mayor or Godfather - Player A or Player B".

As you can see, the amount of information obtained this way is far higher, to a gamebreaking extent, in many cases.

Besides, how would that work for something like Citizens? There could be up to 4 of them in the game at once.

Also the OP seems to be missing things on the Disguiser: its not showing the Role Card which will be used.

1. Eh, I really don't like names tied in results, it really messes up the Framer. Successfully framing someone confirms that your actual account is the Framer. This gives the Investigator (already the more powerful of the point and check invests) a buff and the Framer (A weaker Mafia role) a nerf. The point of the Framer is to deny results or otherwise confuse Invesigatives, giving confirmed results off of an action that otherwise shoulf be moot just well sucks.

Role Alignment: Mafia Deception

Ability: Choose a target to disguise yourself as.

Attributes:

Disguise yourself as someone at night.
If your target dies, you will appear to be them.
If your target does not die, investigators will see your results as theirs, Sheriffs will still see you as mafia.
Spy's will always seem their movements as yours.
You can only use your night ability 5 times.
If your target dies while you are disguising, your name will acquire their account and they will be given yours.
If there are no kill-capable Mafia roles left you will become a Mafioso.
You can talk with other Mafia at night.
Goal: Kill anyone that will not submit to the Mafia.

Win Conditions:

Must kill the Town
Must kill Serial Killers
Must kill Arsonists
Must kill Werewolves
Win with the Mafia
Win with Witches

It will somewhat resolve the missing janitor part.

I would add if they guess a name wrong 3 times they die- for the role can't be overpowered.

First off, creating 20 accounts for 1 fm game is likely going to get shot down by TurdPile, as evidenced by this. Making 20 accounts for a game like this (and only a game like this; they would just sit there forever unused after this) is impractical and a lot of work for you/the mod/the players.

It also breaks the terms of use to share account information as you're suggesting. If the players are making the account, they need to have a name requirement (to prevent everyone else from figuring out who it is). Also, your disguiser role breaks the terms of use in the same way.

Actually, the fact a role you're determined to use breaks the ToU means I'm gonna vote no for this. :\

Then it would have to be slow FM. I don't think this pitch was intended to be that way. Slow FM is all read based, no discussion, and so far, SFM has had a lot of inactive players.

Okay, I do not intend to have this as a version of Slow FM as Chit suggested, the only way I could see this working is if this particular case of (myself) creating multiple accounts with generic names then sharing said Usernames and Passwords not being a violation of ToU. As I would have to talk to TurdPile, I would only see this happening now if he agrees.

And I am not even sure if he will suspend rules for this trivial of a matter sadly.

I talked to TurdPile, and as Valefor and I expected, the answer was still no, so as such, any Pitch in anyway similar to this cannot happen unless it were to be in Slow FM form.
