Sign in with Steam bugged?

Using the Steam client of the game, typing in the login info by hand works fine, but using the green button and typing in the PW gives this weird error

I'm now having that same login issue over and over. I changed my password in the steam itself. I never saw no email i clicked on or nothing. Just changed it on my own. And it keeps coming up that error now.

I'm fairly sure it has to do with the instability on the website right now. Thanks for updating me. For now, I can only advise you to try again at a later time.

What error are you getting?

I'm now having that same login issue over and over. I changed my password in the steam itself. I never saw no email i clicked on or nothing. Just changed it on my own. And it keeps coming up that error now.

Reinstall Town of Salem and Adobe AIR and then restart your computer.

I am also encountering an issue with the Sign in through STEAM button.
I am able to log in fine with the actual login however the button turns up with a dialog box simply saying "Disconected." after a short flash of "Verifying..."

I started encountering this issue after I changed my password to the account. I am using the same computer as before.

When you see "Disconnected" it means that the stored password is not correct anymore. Please hit "clear password" and then click the green "sign it with Steam"-button again and type in your new password. After this you should be able to login just fine again.

@Comedian: Are you sure you have typed in the correct password? There are a few symbols, along with the mentioned ones, that have some issues, since they might get encoded/masked. Also, do you type in your ToS password, or your Steam password? You need to type in the former.

Doublechecked my password, it doesn't have any of those characters.

Could you screenshot the window (without havign the password typed in) for me? Does it say "type in your password for tiltedcomedian"? Or something else?
What happens when you try to login to the game using the normal username/password boxes?

Then this looks like a character is in your password that Flash cannot display, or masks, which changes the passwordhash. I recommend to change your password into one, which doesn't use symbols, and try to login. Then you can slowly revert back to your old password, adding one character each time, so that you increase your password's security AND find out which character blocks the login for you.
