Game cannot be played on Spectrum Internet

Postby JeGavalo » Sat Jul 17, 2021 10:51 pm

When I have my computer hooked up to Spectrum Internet, whilst I'm waiting in the lobby, I'll get kicked with a message along the lines of "Connection was forcibly closed by the remote host!"

When I turn on my phone's mobile hotspot (T-Mobile, if that information is important), the game works perfectly fine.

Only thing I could get from the debug logs are: "[Network] Connection Closed (10054/ConnectionReset): An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host."

I don't want to rely on my hotspot to play Town of Salem, is there a way you guys could fix this bug? Or is this a problem primarily with Spectrum Internet?

Sadly, it seems to be an issue specifically with Spectrum. I definitely suggest contacting their customer service desk to ask help with internet stability.
