Unable to play on website or steam

Hi, I'm sure this has been posted many times, I haven't been able to play TOS for months because after logging in and joining a classic game it'll let me pick a name and the countdown will reach 0 and nothing will happen. I type 1 message into the chat, nothing happens - I type a second message and then I get the error ' Connection has been forcibly closed by remote host'. When I try to join coven games I don't even make it past the initial lobby screen where you wait for others to join, it just gives me the error right away after 2 messages sent that don't show up in the chatbox. I know it's not an issue of someone else on my account because I recently changed my password and verified my email. I have a full copy-paste of the player log and if anyone could help me I would be seriously indebted to you - I miss playing this game.
