I #13 died n2 while protecting #9, ambusher #2 visited #9 n3 and I saw that message while being dead

If your corpse were reanimated by a Retributionist or Necromancer, then that might make it possible for you to receive this message.

I believe that this is intended behaviour, although perhaps it should be changed. It feels out of place for this notification to be given to the corpse player when the Retributionist/Necromancer/Coven Leader receives general feedback from your actions.
