Time: 0218 AM PST(West Coast)

Issue: Client Crash

Details: I was in a ranked game and in the middle of the game my client freezes for about 3 seconds in which follows with a crash. Upon crashing I get a message that says that my client was crashed remotely and takes me back to the Town of Salem Log-in screen. How do I fix this? I can't afford to keep losing Elo because of this issue. Please help!

Does the game freeze, does it kick you out, or does the entire application/program crash?

Do you have a screenshot of the specific error?

And just as some follow up in case it's needed later: What OS are you using?

Thanks for the screenshot.

I do know there were a couple server hiccups on the forums yesterday, but I don't know if that affected the game at all.

Just to rule it out: Did you only have these issues yesterday, or do you have them more often?

If you have them more often, have you tried the following (from Common Steam issues and fixes:
- WiFi connected: Download a WiFi Analyser on your smartphone and check for the least busy channel, put your router on that channel (never put it on auto).
Also make sure you have QoS (Quality of Service) and Hardware Acceleration turned off, that your Router is in a high and unblocked position and there are no sources of disruption (microwaves, subwoofers, mirrors, etc) around.
- Both for WiFi AND Ethernet cable: Reset your router/modem (keep in mind that network settings will also be reset, such as network name and password), then open ports 843 and 3600 TCP/UPD on your firewall and router.
