Typing @ symbol freezes the game

Whenever I type the @ symbol in the Steam version.

Are you on the regular Steam version, or the Unity Beta opt-in?
Is it just the @ symbol that freezes your game?
Does it happen consistently?
Does the entire game freeze, or just the chatbox?
Is the timer on a random time or always on 0 if you freeze?
