[On Steam] Can't Join Lobby

I'm not sure what (if anything) I am not doing correctly, but I launched ToS on Steam, fulfilled daily brew, and went to play solo on a normal game (later tried this again on Coven and in All any in chaos with no luck). After clicking Play solo, that option, create party, and coven option fade out but I don't move to a lobby I just stay on that screen. tried to back out and do different things but nothing worked. I used to play on web browser in the past but today I bought steam version and linked my account and I'm having troubles getting the game to actually "play". Any advice on how to remedy?

Did you select a gamemode, or only selected the headers?
