Appeal

Postby Sanderguy » Fri Jan 18, 2019 4:14 am

I was banned yesterday (17.01.2019) for inappropiate username. I understand that what i called myself was wrong and i did not mean to harm or offend anyone, i am sorry to whoever who got offended by me. I did not think through what i called myself and it was stupid of me. In my country the word is used quite often and i didnt think people would be offended by it, especially as it is a norwegian "slang" word for people with darker skin. Personally i do not think this username was ban-worthy, but now i have realised that i have to be more careful of what usernames i choose in the future. I have been playing town of salem since 2014 or so and i love this game and would like to keep playing, but it is not for me to judge. I know there is a high probability the ban wont be lifted, but i want to do whatever it takes for me to play the game again, but as i said it is not for me to judge.

Well, that is still a racial slur, which is not approved of. Be aware not everyone knows thats a norwegian slang, as it is a slur in other languages.
