Appealing permanent ban

Postby iRequiem » Mon May 31, 2021 9:08 pm

So I just got permanently banned, and I checked my reports. Yes, I did say some bad stuff, but that's what the hard filter is there for. I'm not sure why your report even logged the stuff that I said. On my screen it said that my message was rejected. So I'm just wondering why I am permanently banned when the filter blocked everything that I said. This doesn't make any sense because if you can get banned even if the filter blocks what you say, there is no reason to leave the filter in place and you might as well keep banning everyone who says those things.

Greetings,

please note that only invalid, non archived reports may be appeale and that the filter does not catch everything that's said.

Rejected messages in whispers are still loggy by the server, which is why they're listed here.

So it doesn't matter if I bypass the filter or not? Then why even have a filter in the first place? Or is it that my messages that got rejected still got shown due to your stupid system bug but you for some reason didn't take this into account when permanently banning me? None of this makes any sense and I demand an explanation.

Am I going to get unbanned anytime soon? It feels unfair to ban someone over something that no one in game can even see and shouldn't even show in the report anyway but it does because of your stupid bug.

How long does it take for an admin to respond usually?

That depends on their availability, as we forum stuff are volunteers, it may take some days, but also weeks.

And if only whispers are shown, does that mean that if I had said the exact same thing in chat and not whispers, I would not have been banned?

This seems very unfair if that is true because doing the exact same thing could lead to an indefinite ban in one scenario but no punishment in another. I dont believe that I deserve this permanent ban at all. I want an admin to review my appeal as soon as possible because I dont want to have to make a new account and start all over again.

The fact that it was said in game at all is the issue here. Appeal denied.
I have mostly rescinded my role as Admin.

All previous contact should instead be redirected to Flavorable.

If your inquiry doesn't directly have to do with Trial 2.0 or TrialBot, then please refrain from messaging.

Thank you.
