As you can tell in Day 5, there were 4 players alive, 2 mafia, 2 town. The next day Escort found the gf and decided to just leave instead of going for the draw. After he left, it became a 2 mafia vs 1 town. What's the point of just prolonging the game at that point?

please note that usually leaving whilst alive is against the rules regardless of the situation. That aside would you leaving prolong the game more instead, since leavers cannot be lynched.
