After trying to log into Town of Salem with a friend, I found my account to have been suspended for “inappropriate username”. My friend checked the reports, and brought up a guilty case against my account, with the username “Hilter Skilter”.

Looking at it, I completely see why such a username would have been caught; it does infact seem like I was trying to avoid a word-filter, yet still name myself “Hitler”.

This certainly wasn’t the case, however. If you search up “Hilter Skilter” on google or any other reasonable browser right now, , you’ll find a song by The Swirling Eddies.

Me and my friend were joking about this song through-out the day. After my friend called it a day and went to sleep, I continued playing. Having no better name at the time, I named myself “Hilter Skilter”.

I get that it’s easy to miss, but my intentions were as such. I do not think naming myself “hitler” is humorous, and in future, will try to avoid names that could make people even consider them as “inappropriate”.

As you can see in the report mentioned below, I even protested against my name being construed as "Hitler."
