Why go afk?

Seriously. Just had a game where medium went afk which made arso win the game. (It was a 3v1). Just.... Why do people go afk? I honestly do not understand it.

I am not sure if oyu wish to have an explanation for that, since there can be countless, some less likely than the others, this could include, getting called away, the client getting unresponsible, while the server didn't register the dc, falling asleep...
