Steam Edition

I looked briefly for other posts of the same topic (looked at faq and enter a few related search topics) and found no results and was wondering if it's possible to switch my account information into a steam edition since I made my account online and bought coven I want to use steam down since I realized it was available on steam but I don't know how to keep all my account info and keep coven without spending extra money.

The Steamclient is available on Steam to buy. You can link the current account of yours with Steam using the Steamclient, so you do not have to create a new one. Since all three clients (mobile, Steam, web) connect to the same server, there is no switching/migration required.

Okay I was asking though if there's a way around that because I think it's unfair to have to pay for a version I just have to click like twice to open compared to typing in a link

No, there's no way around it. The Steam version comes with special perks and these perks you have to pay for.
