Attacked myself died, but am immune?

So I died as mafioso (no GF) and I got 3 messages in this order

You were attacked by a member of the mafia.
You were attacked by a crusader.
Your target's defense was too strong to kill.
You have died.

So does this mean that I was immune but not immune???

Were you previously a different role that was promoted to a Mafioso? Because it sounds like you attacked the Crusader's target while a Necromancer used a dead Mafioso to attack you.

i mean, yea... since crus gives its target powerful defence for a night, theres no way his target would have died to a mafioso. So you werent controlled or transed, since no message, so you obviously didnt attack yourself
