Are the people who I match with the same league as me or is it pointless to play ranked? Last season I was in platinium league and there were still people who played in a low level.

Now that I'm in bronze league I saw someone saying that he was in Masters League.

So the question is, do I get matched up with people in the league I am or do other people lower then me join as well?

Yea ranked matchmaking is shit, you just get paired with whoever

Actually, the game starts by looking for people in your elo bracket. If there's not enough people online in that bracket, the game expands its search.

Maybe their elo is not as high as they would think? The season did just start, afterall.

Also, depending on the time of day, there might not be any people around in the player's elo bracket. Ranked isn't *that* populated.
