You can't play anymore without at least 1 person fake jailor claiming every, single, game. TPs and LOs don't know who to go on so town almost always loses. Then you have fake jailor claims from people who do nothing but buy Vet scrolls and try to kill as many TP/LOs as possible.

What's being done to combat this?

Honestly, nothing.
What can be done against that? There are lots of bad players out there.
I suppose you're implying what they do is gamethrowing, but according to the current rules it isn't unless they admit they are trying to lose. The only way to combat this is by adding more gamethrowing rules (like the Syanna rule) to prevent abuse of this strategies.

How about giving bans to players who blatantly claim jailor every single game? There's 3-4 people I see CONSTANTLY when I play who name themselves "Jailor" then claim jailor no matter what. It fucks the entire game up and they have yet to be banned because I keep seeing the exact same fucking players.

Yeah flaming isn't going to change anything. Relying on the jailor to get rid of the fake doesn't work because TPLO go on the fake or the real jailor is forced to claim when they didn't want to.

That's why I wish the Syanna rule was still in place. But it isn't, so nothing can be done about them.

"Letting the jailor handle it" doesn't work because most of the time this people are throwing townies.

PS: Jailors can kill their target even if they are protected, since jailors deal unstoppable attacks while most protectives give powerful defense, which is weaker. The only way to prevent a jailor execution is by roleblocking the jailor, witching him into someone who isn't his prisoner, or protecting the prisoner as a guardian angel.

This isn't a problem, it's a strategy.
Try to accept other playstyles, instead of criticizing them and being toxic.

They claimed doctor Day 1.

rule #347 - You cannot claim jailor as any role.

Also,jailor doesnt have to out themselves, they can jail the fake claimer n1, all the TPs will receive the message ''your ability failed because your target was jailed''. That would send enough red flags to get the guy lynched day 2

They weren't doctor, they were veteran.

But they didn't claim Veteran. Why would you RB a Doc claim N1, when they never claimed Veteran?

Because the real doctor healed me, and it confirmed all three of us.
