I love Town of Salem and watched the videos of gameplay of it of a particular YouTuber. Nevertheless, I made this account just a few hours ago.

The problem I am currently having is that I can only log into this forum and not the game itself. I have double-checked my username and password, even copy-pasting the password to the password entry space for 100% certainty, and yet it still gives me the "Your username or password was invalid." statement. I even changed my password, and did the same thing (copy-pasting), and the same thing keeps popping up, never taking me to the game.

I also am a user of Google Chrome, and I hear that apparently Google Chrome users tend to experience more difficulties when accessing Town of Salem. Furthermore, I made this account just before the Blank Media Games sites shut down temporarily. I am sure that I have made my account successfully because it confirmed both in my Gmail and in phpBB. I do not know if these are of any relevance to my problem.

Anyway, I am hoping that this gets settled. Thank you.

Apparently there was no game account created when you created the forum account, which was likely caused by the shut down.

Hey Townie!

The easiest solution is for us to delete your forum account, and you recreate it. Are you ok with this?

Yeah, I also considered the possibility of my game account not existing at all. I agree with deleting and then recreating.

This seems like it was a more widespread issue, so you should be all set now. We bulk fixed a bunch of accounts.

Sorry about that. When our server provided started some maintenance without informing us some weird stuff happened. I went ahead and made sure to make your game account so you can now play!
