Didn't get my reffer points?

My friend owns the game on steam, and he has used my refferal code on web so he is now able to play on web browser. but I didn't get my town points or any other prizes.

me too i have steam account and my friend register in web browser with my nick on referer but i didn't get any point or item

Are you sure they used your accountname and not your referral code when signing up?
Are you also sure that the made an ingame purchase, for example upgrading their account to premium?
