Hello everyone, i am PatriciaLinda, and i played Town of Salem since a long time ago (enough to play without purchasing the game). Right now i have this issue. Since this January 2020, i couldn´t connect to my account. It keeps saying is unable to login into servers. I changed my password, and still my account is unable to login. It just says "Error connecting to server. Please try again later". I´ve been trying since a week ago, everyday, and still nothing. Anyone know about this issue? it happens to anyone else?

Recently (around 13 hours ago) the servers were kinda slow and partially unavailable. This should have calmed down now.

Are you accessing atm the PTR ( http://www.blankmediagames.com/TownOfSa ... TestRealm/ ) Or the main game ( www.blankmediagames.com/TownOfSalem/ )?
The PTR is currently down, but the normal server is accessible.

I am at the main game, in the browser version. I don´t have steam.

Could clear your browsers cache and your flash cache and then retry logging in to the game?

No, nothing worked yet. I deleted cache, cookies, any kind of register, and refresh again. Still getting the same message. Even changing the language doesn´t work.

This is odd. Are you sure you aren't attempting to login to the PTR?

i did from the links you gave me. And i can assure you is the main game. Im gonna try in both links then.

EDIT: I Tried both links, and changing languages. None of them worked. I know you told me the Public Test is down, but was worth the shot.

Are you playing from home, or are you on a school network?

I am playing from my workplace. But doesn´t have a controlled network. I even tried using a VPN, but still nothing.

Edit: Crazy thought but i was wondering: If Blankmediagames is migrating the game to Unity, then the browser version is closed? Or migrating?

No, it's working fine on our end. Are you sure your workplace didn't update/change their security and/or firewalls as to no longer allow browser-based games to get through the firewall?

The client will be replaced, thus the unity webclient will eventually be reached by the same link.

No, my network at workplace is not updated, and even with a VPN i can´t login. Maybe is the migration to Unity, i don´t know. Point is, i can´t play at all. I hope this issue will be solved soon. I missed this game a lot.

Have you tried accessing the game at home?

the same thing happens to me and I get Error connecting to server from January 21st, I tried what was proposed and nothing

for an unknown reason it started to work even though I didn't do anything now, so the problem is solved

hello, just to say thank you for all your concern. Suddenly it worked. I changed again the password because the login itself asked me to do it. Then i could play again. Thank you all for your answers. I can play again. The thread can be closed now.
