We did discover that a summary part of an email template we used for the account deletion email slipped its way into the email. This has since been fixed. Thank you for the heads up! Using the link will not delete your account.

It wasn't the title or the link. There is a 3rd part to emails that is what is displayed as the preview essentially. That section had not been completely updated. Using the old link wouldn't have deleted your account, and using the new link won't either. Sorry for the confusion!
