Unable to change my accounts password

So i haven't played ToS in about a year it seems and as a result i forgot my password, i went to reset it and of course it gave me a randomly generated password but when i have tried going into the user control panel to change it to something i will remember and use often, i don't see an option to do so. All i see is the reset link and that just does the same thing. Keep in mind i play through steam as well and clicking on "sign in with steam" did not help either.

The link in your User Control Panel doesn't do the same thing. It just has an extra security, so only someone with access to your e-mailaddress can change your password.

Just went through all of those steps about 5 times and each time i get to the page that lets me type in my email and username to request the password reset, after clicking the captcha then clicking submit request, the page refreshes and i don't get the email like the guide explains i'd get. I don't have adblockers enabled, i've tried to do this on both chrome and firefox to no avail and the email is whitelisted so it should not show up in the spam folder. I've been checking for the past hour, i don't get an email at all.

Edit: So i had to load up microsoft edge for some reason to get it done, when clicking the box for the captcha on chrome or firefox for some reason the other boxes like "click all the pictures with cars" in it never showed up, it just refreshed the page. So i tried edge and it worked. I guess this can help someone else out having the same issue sometime in the future. Thanks for the assistance!

Sorry for the inconvenience! I indeed heard that Chrome had been giving some issues with the Captcha. It's good to know that Firefox is also being a ding dong about it.
