Losing as WW without doing anything

I got werewolf for a game. Night 2 I was jailed and there was a bodyguard on the jailor. When I rampaged on the jailor, the bodyguard killed me. I was curious about this mechanic because it kind of seemed unfair.

If the WW doesn't do anything on a full moon night, they do an active attack on anyone visiting them.

If you are jailed and you do nothing, this means you do an active attack on the jailor. The BG protects the jailor from any active attacks, including from a jailed WW who is rampaging.
