Thank you for everyone who has participated in Ranked to help us create a competitive experience, and make improvements to the game. Today we will be starting off season at 1 PM CST. With this patch we will be making a small change to the Jester that we feel will a big impact. Ranked Season 3 will start on March 29th!
Rewards!
The rewards you get will be based on the tier that you reached in this season of Ranked. For everyone who received the rank of Gold and above, you will be receiving a couple spiffy new addition to your characters.

Off Season!
Once the Off Season has started playing ranked matches will no longer affect your rating. Win rates from this season of ranked are getting very close to where we want them to be, even with the ever developing strategies that many of you are using. We feel that we have nailed down a solid role list with this season, and that small adjustments can be made with the current win rates to bring certain roles up or down just a bit to be exactly where we want them to be. While we have many changes planned for the future we don't want to do too much at once.
Role Changes!
The Jester can now kill any player who didn't vote INNOCENT on them if they are hanged. We feel this change will open up new avenues of play for evil roles, and help to break the meta of 1 player taking the hit for any potential Jesters. We believe this change will be good for overall health of the role, and will help it be the role it was always meant to be. A role that makes you second guess yourself when trying to hang someone.
Rating Changes!
For Ranked Season 3 we will be making a change to the "K-Factor" in our rating algorithm. What this means in non-mumbo jumbo terms is that the base rating that you will earn or lose per game will be increased. This should help push you to the tier that you belong in faster than last season.
Bug Fixes/Improvement!
Clarified the Doctor's role card to say that healing gives your target Powerful Defense. It previously said they could not be killed at night.
Fixed a position issue with the Investigator skin when using the Pixel death animation.
Fixed an issue with the error message on Steam when trying to create an account with an email that was already in use.
Fixed an issue where the GA could not purge the poison from a Poisoner if the Necronomicon was in play.
Fixed an issue where Pestilence would say he killed the Jailor twice when jailed.
Fixed an issue where the Spy would not die to Veteran when visiting them, or spread the plague when visiting.
Fixed an issue where Doctor/Crusader weren't getting notified their target was attacked by medusa.
Fixed an exploit that allowed players to claim free rewards through Steam with Family Sharing.
Fixed an issue that caused users using the Spanish localization to crash when using the Alabaster reaper skin.
Fixed several tutorial messages to have the most up to date information.
Trial System will now boot a player off the server if a report is found guilty.
