When would you report an exploit?

In a MULTIPLAYER game you like you find a HUGE exploit. When would you report it?

1. You wouldn't.

2. After had some fun with it.

3. When others start to use it.

4. As soon as you can.

Bonus: You are a forum moderator, and you see the report on the bug report forum. How would you react?

1. Give a thanks, then delete the thread, or lock from view, and promise, that you told the devs to fix it, then you send the message to the development team.

2. Same as first, but you wouldn't lock/delete the thread (chances are, that other players see it).

3. Ban the player who reported it for posting exploits about the game, and delete the thread.

I contact the developers directly about the exploit, asking if it's known because I doubt I'd be the first to find it. Would use it enough to get some kind of reliable info on how it's done, what it does.

Depending on how the developers respond I might wait for them to fix it (if they seem like they're going to), try and contact them again (if it seems I was ignored), or, if it seems like extra incentive would get them to fix the exploit (which is to say, it seems they won't do so otherwise), or if their response was something that bothered me when I told them about it, I would then start telling people about it.

First one: option 4. For the second one: its a tricky thing, which mostly depends on the exploits context, but its mostly option 2.
