meta: Move forums to Discourse

Hey, I think it would be pretty cool if these forums were migrated to discourse. Discourse is a more modern/more actively-developed forum software with a much better design, support for markdown, badges, SSO (sign in to forums with BMG account), etc.

Discourse can be self-hosted (ran on your own servers), or it can be managed by the Discourse non-profit hosting at https://discourse.org.

Also, for the forum operator, there is a way to migrate phpbb content to discourse: https://meta.discourse.org/t/importing-from-phpbb3/30810

afaik the account system for the game is run off of phpbb so this would be harder to do for this forum than any standalone forum.

I do like Discourse, though, it just might not be reasonable or necessary.

Same. I don't like that all of the replies are on one page that loads as you scroll, because it makes it a lot harder to find what you're looking for within a thread. Especially when it comes to things like Forum Games
