I just aced my semester test! In other news, the Assistant Principal wants me to join the "Assistant Principal Advisory Squad", which means I get to make and shape the rules. I also lost out my choir part to a girl who didn't even audition, so I'm extremely upset about that. I now have a line and a bit of group singing.

Congrats on acing your semester test and getting to join the Assistant Principal Advisory Squad (my school has no such thing)! Losing a part to someone who didn't even audition makes no sense. Unfortunate that you lost your part.

I have 2 more final exams tomorrow and then 1st semester is officially over for me!

In college studying Biotechnology, current two topics are (loosely translated) Downstream Processing and Plants. I prefer Plants over DSP, finals coming up next week. My grades are pretty okay, nothing spectacular but also not 'just enough'.

so just got through exams which were boring as fuck, and it appears that i did most well on all of them. algebra hit me with that 77% but it is what it is.

otherwise I've been chilling lol. only been sent to the deans once, and I've only had in house this year. social life is pretty okay, and i am content

feeling like I just got run over by a truck
and that I want to actually get run over by a truck ;))))

exams were last week, and now it's almost as if teachers are trying to give us all the homework from this week and the missed homeworks from last week combined!! haha
I need to:
* do all the primary research for my L2 project
* do review questions for History, Chemistry, Biology, Computing, Maths and French
* learn RobotC to program a robot
* make part of a robot (and for reference, I have never made a robot before)
by next Monday

haha it's almost like they don't want us to have any sort of social life or become fully developed people with hobbies and interests beyond studying and work, but that's ridiculous because they're a school that is supposed to prepare us for further life amirite

just got a 2 in a world history test. read everything that was needed and forgot everything in school 10/10
anyway world history is a completely useless and unneeded subject

Our lead for our play just got suspended and isn't allowed near the school for a month.

Were holding call-back to figure out who is going to replace them and I'm one of four people who has to audition.

Oh you have got to see the play to know how right you actually are.

Do you ever just get super annoyed when asked to create a product but the electronics you are given are poorly designed and make a spaghetti circuit that gets so messy you end up needing multiple circuits just to keep the poorly optimised pieces in a working state?

I have to turn in the final PP report Feb. 10, and the PP exibition is coming up on Feb. 17. I'm actually on holiday in Nanjing right now, but I'm also doing the PP report at the same time.

They also removed the cardboard boards that were used last year and had us make banners instead, either digitally or physically. I didn't know how to do graphics design or use Inkscape, so I'm going to stick some paper craft onto the banner.

I constructed a gaming desktop computer for my Personal Project. I bought the components under a 4000 CNY budget, which would amount to about 500 USD. Wasn't easy finding the components.

If any of you have done Persosnal Project before, please share your experience!
