I took the science stream so the subjects were English, physics, chem, maths and Computer science. 85% is the overall score.

if you're saying you fkd up on physics, then 85% is even more impressive

better than the muppets we call teachers saying 'do my subject, do mine!', the students that also have no idea or the parents who only care about my mandatory subject grades

someone said that the school commerce subject's content can be covered online or in some uni seminar so guess i wont have to suffer in commerce for my education (going to be a wild ride if i suddenly decide to become an accountant/lawyer lmao)

The only advice that I can give is don't listen to teachers and parents but instead your upperclassmen that have gone through this ordeal and came out of it. Their words contain much more value than the people you mentioned.

Also only do what you yourself want to do. Don't do something because somebody else tells you it's the right thing to do. Just take their information but know that it is ultimately on you what you are going to do.

Friends did IB, hardest parts are the HL courses and the EE. If you're doing HL Math, Chem and Phys, you'll be in for the roughest high school ride ever.

Yikes dude, well good luck, that's all I can say. HL English is probably one of the easy HL subjects in terms of going from SL to HL. But IB overall is a good curciculum to do as its recognised world wide and you can use it to get into most unis globally if you're smart enough. Heck a 32/45 is enough to get into comp sci in Australia,36 for commerce but 44/45 for medicine.

My school's a gambling haven.

I hate the student council, too.
